Started my professional journey in 2005 with The Chancery Pavilion – Bangalore as Kitchen Operational Trainee and learned basics of Food Production from various Chefs and mentors.
Moving ahead I got an opportunity to work with the renowned Princess Cruise Pvt Ltd in California –USA, where done Cruising on Different Itinerates as 2nd Chef, which is almost equivalent to Demi Chef de Partie in Indian Food Production Hierarchy. Learned Continental Food Preparation with excellence in Sauce section. Also worked in Grill and Fish Section in different Galleys.
Worked as CDP in Hilton Americas – Houston – Texas –USA, on H2B visa, where I handled a-la-carte fine dine restaurant, pool-side bar & Kitchen and Banquet Kitchen and managed wedding and various other events.
Dedication, consistency and hard work are three pillars of learning success and with these competencies; I was promoted from F&B Executive to Outlet Manager and then Restaurant Manager at Thulhagiri Island Resort – Republic of Maldives.
I was born and brought up in Dehradun and it was an amazing experience to work with Hotel Madhuban – Dehradun as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager where I got the opportunity to serve bureaucrats and manage various events including major events with 3000 guests.
Worked with Hyatt Regency – New Delhi as Club Operations Manager at Kolkata Location (The Palladian Lounge), which proved be a vital milestone of my career as I got the privilege to serve the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi and his entire team and also our Honourable President of India – Mr. Pranab Mukherjee and his team at Raj Bhawan – Kolkata.
On the auspicious land of Haridwar, I worked as Food and Beverage Manager with Royal Orchid Hotels.
Got another opportunity from Wyndham Worldwide, one of the largest hospitality companies across six continents, to work as Food and Beverage Manager at Ramada Chennai. My determination and commitment towards my work paid off and I was chosen for the Pre-Opening of Ramada Dehradun -5 Star Hotel.
My career graph mounted as I came across this opportunity to contribute to yet another Pre-opening of a 5 Star Luxury brand Dr. M Yoga Retreat – Rishikesh as Food and Beverage Manager – Corporate. Dr.M (Dr B.K. Modi) is a social entrepreneur, a philanthropist and an author with more than 30 years of business leadership experience.
